Students and experts gather at the latest edition of the Doctoral Workshop

On June 3rd, another edition of the Doctoral Workshop at IGOT took place, organized by PhD students in Geography and in Tourism.

The event opened with speeches from Ricardo Garcia (Vice-President of IGOT-ULisboa) and the organizing committee, composed of Bernardo Costa, Patrícia Veloza Torres, and Carlo Guadagno.

Structured into three sessions, the Doctoral Workshop provided an opportunity for PhD students to present their projects and subsequent results. The participating students had their research projects and findings reviewed by experts in the relevant fields. These comments facilitated the exchange of experiences and the refinement of the presented projects.

The event concluded with a closing session led by the organizing committee and the Director of CEG, José Luís Zêzere, who emphasized the importance of such initiatives for the academic and professional development of students.
